Pho is just freaking awesome.

Gah, sorry for the lateness guys. I got really distracted and for some reason, I was CERTAIN it was someone else's turn. DM fail.

Since a "super steampunk city" has been confirmed in the Korra series, and we consider this RP as "Alternate universe", I figured, in this version, Quishi is probably the one building it, as the super technology loving avatar. So I went with that. Technology is not fully spread to all the world yet.

Who: Everybody cuz it's a party
Where: Ba Sing Se - Jade Dragon

Pho's robes swished as she walked down the corridor rapidly. The other concubines  got out of her way as fast as they could. When Pho was mad, it was time to be discreet. She walked into her room and closer the door quickly. Upset, she tossed the clothing lying on her bed to the floor. The clothes landed on the pai cho table she kept in her room, spreading the tiles on the floor. Pho watched the tiles for a minute, got back up, and picked them up. She placed them gently and carefully back on the pai cho table, creating a studied pattern. Finally, she places the white lotus tile directly in the middle. Pho remained on the ground, looking at the pai cho table. She picked up the while lotus tile and let it roll across her fingers.

"Never again". She said. And she placed the lotus tile back to the center. "I guess i'll be needing another waterbender."

Quishi sat on his throne, flicking little flames out of her fingers, bored. He really was hoping he would be getting a waterbender teacher today. One of his servants had suggested he was too forceful. BAH. He doesn't ask for things. He gets them. He's the king. and the avatar! An avatar KING. He loved the sound of that.

To bad still. The girl had some fire in her. And he loved fire. So much more then earth. Fire shaped earth. Into metal. Metal is the perfect entity. It's all four elements into one. Metal was flawless, reflective. A mirror that reflected the world. His world. The firenation failed to conquer the world. But he would manage to do it. Not by force. Not using technology as a weapon. He would make people dependent on his machines, make bending obsolete. And then, he would keep the control of the machines... How they work, how to fix them, how to make them move, only him and those of his precious new city would know. Soon. His new capital, Republic City, would be born.

A servant silently guided to the throne room a very old man. The man had metal all around his legs, and straps to keep them solid. Small clouds of steam came from the legs every time he took a step. He stopped before the throne and bowed.

"Ah, Master Theo. How good of you to drop by! I trust the construction of my city is going well?"

1) Back to the dragon
2) Pho does something else that is awesome
3) Theo dialogue time!

Took me a moment to remember who he was but THEOOOO <3 It's pretty awesome to include him as the one building QiShi's city. We needed a cool old guy in here, anyway!

And don't worry about the lateness. I think we all lose track of time pretty easily, so no worries. XD

Teo is the best character I could think of including. Maybe he,ll still remember his airbending spirit?

Wha- Waaa-- WHAT?! Teo! TEO?!
That is awesome and perfect. Great plot twist. I love the idea of our QiShi establishing Republic City. It works nicely.

Also, I am super curious about Lady Pho and her evident connection to the White Lotus Society.

Small nitpicks: The character's name, I asume I'm referencing the right fellow, is spelled "Teo", and it's "Pai Sho".

Mwahahahahah I AM THE MASTER DM XD

I wanted to bring in Teo. A perfect conflict of airbending spirit and tech.

Thanks for the tips. I forgot to check the spellings!

That you are.

I have plans to "awaken" Ellil's character, although quite ready for our team to meet him anytime soon.

Probably consider that more when they get out of Ba Sing Se or something.

That should've read "not quite ready". Oops.

Yeah. We've got enough going on for the moment.

TEO?! That is an awesome twist! Also, I like QiShi's plan there. It explains his personality a lot.

It really does. XD He doesn't seem so awful anymore. Or he seems worse?
Aug. 4th, 2010 08:14 pm (UTC)
I'm voting for still seeming awful. World domination, et all.

I love the twist of the Avatar Earth King preferring fire to earth, and he has a valid point about the entire metal being a combination of elements.

Metal is so awesome. And shiny. Ohhhhhh. Shiny XD

I love quishi.
